Difference between IOS?

Hi all,

I would like to know in-depth the difference is standing on IOS software . I have heard that some are advanced when others are enteprise. This will enrich me on advising the exact IOS software on a specific need.

Hi Lionel,

the easiest thing it's perhaps to browse the Feature navigator, starting from the feature(s) interesting you, or otherwise the list of features included in each version of the IOS release of your choice. Playing around with the searches you should be quickly able to find the informations you look for.

can you this site http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/support/tsd_most_requested_tools.html (you must have CCO login)

once you are in this page click on software advisor where you have a option to "Compare the features in different software releases"

click on this and select your model of the device you will be able to see the difference.
