Hi All
Any one can give me suggestion to understand the difference of filtering routes between using interface and control-plane?
I read the document, please see the link http://www.ciscozine.com/copp-what-is-that/
We also can use ACL and attach it in interface to filter routes, why we use control-plane ? Thank you !

Two completely different things.
CoPP is used to protect the control plane of a device and make sure it does not become overloaded if a lot of packets are sent to the device's IP address.
You can use it to prioritise certain traffic such as routing updates and give a low priority to other packets.
It is not used to filter routing updates.

Besides the logical difference, as already described by Jon, on switches, interface filtering might be programed into the ASICs while CoPP filtering might not be.
