Hi.
I have a doubt about how the DNS server works on the ASA appliance.
I have a LAN with a Windows Server 2008 R2 and a DNS is configured in this server as Windows Role.
The LAN's gateway is a L3 switch.
ASA is pointed to a primary DNS server (Windows 2008 R2) in their configuration (private IP address).
I would like to use the Open DNS as my DNS server to resolve the names outside of the LAN only.
How can I say to ASA to forward the packets to the internet using the Open DNS address?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Why not configure your dns server (Windows 2008) to forward to Open DNS for requests it cannot resolve.
Thanks
John
