Problem)

I have WS-SUP720-3B and compact flash.

Using the compact flash adaptor, I did boot SUP.

However, continuously entered rommon mode.

Steps below)

First of all, I inserted another compact flash into the disk0:

and then entered boot disk0:s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF16.bin command.

Second, after I entered privileged mode.

Router#show sup-bootdisk
-#- --length-- -----date/time------ path
1     80175620 May 22 2015 07:04:20 s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF16.bin

Router#conf t

Router(config)#boot system sup-bootdisk:s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF16.bin

Router(config)#end

Router#wr

Router#reload

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------but

rommon>

definitely

register value : 0x2102

SP power on

Maybe you know what can I do?

I'm waiting for your replyㅠ_ㅠ

Hi,

I expect the flash file is good and verified.

Do the following thing from Rommon mode:-

dev

set

sync

reset

boot disk0:imagename

Once the device is back up then:-

conf-reg 0x2102

remove previous boot commands and try boot disk0:image name

wr

reload

wow Thank you so much!

I'm in subway.. So after I come back to the PC, I'll give a try!

And let you know what's going on!^^

Ah..... I want to boot sup-bootdisk Not disk0:..

The reason that I use compact flash into the disk0: is just using the booting IMAGE...

because,, although I entered boot system sup-bootdisk: IOS NAME command, continuously entered rommon mode...

So I want to know how to boot using the sup-bootdisk: !!ㅠ_ㅠ

I really don't know;;;';

Sure no problem just verify the image once again on the sup-bootdisk.

Then check show bootvar and verify that it is set correctly.

Else provide me the output of show ver & show bootvar
