Documentation of debug ip ospf spf command

Well I searched cisco.com for documentation on debug ip ospf spf; and all it will tell me about is debug ip ospf statistics!!

I'm still trying to figure out what that "Type 0" referred to in the debug output I shared with Giuseppe in my "More OSPF adventures with stuey" thread. It obviously can't be an LSA type, nor an OSPF packet type.

Where's the definitive documentation on all the debug ip ospf commands?

Hi,

Type 0 is an internal type used by the router to refer to a stub network. This is not part of the RFC and of course this type is never sent to a neighbor.

Hmmm, so I can expect to see a "type 0" link referring to every directly connected network (i.e., connected to the ospf interfaces) on the router? Or, just the connected ones on which there aren't any OSPF neighbor routers?

For me, stub networks are networks where you don't have OSPF neighbor.

From your lab, do you have an OSPF neighbor for those links ?
