I have a 2811 router with a four port etherswitch high speed WAN card and under normal operating conditions this works fine. However when there is a larger laod in the network I am seeing dropped TCP packets (and the usual retransmissions etc). The load I am applying isn't that big (only about 8Mbit/s) yet I am definitely dropping these packets. When I use fastethernet 0/1 instead there are no problems. Does anyone know what this problem is or how to fix it? I need all four ports on the etherswitch as opposed to the single spare fastethernet 0/1 port.
