Hi,
We are planning to migrate our WAN to a DS3 backbone.
Can any one help me with the following queries:-
1) How can I connect a unframed DS3 link directly to a 7206 router.
2) If we need to use ATM, can someone help me with the configuraiton details involved.
Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi,
Just use the appropriate serial PA card (PA-E3 or PA-T3). Configure the link as any other serial link.
Regarding the ATM, i think that the creation of a point to point subif would be the simplest solution, but my ATM knowledge is limited :)

(1) Make sure you buy the appropriate card. If you go with a serial DS3 (PA-T3), don't waste extra money on the multi-channel DS3 card (PA-MC-T3). If you go with ATM, buy an ATM DS3 card.
(2) I just turned up a ATM DS3 Internet connection with ATT. The config is rather simple. Drop me a line if you go that route.
