Hello All.

I have just had T1 installed and paradynes are the CSU/DSU from ISP. Upon connecting V35 - serial DTE cables and configuring Frame Relay Or PPP i get one router coming up with serial up / line protocol (down). But with one of teh routers it says Serial up / line protocol down (looped).

What do you think is the problem and how can i get is solved. I called ISP and they checked their connections and it is not looped on their end.

If you have control of the Paradyne CSU/DSU then verify that their are no loops on any of the V>35 DTE ports or the T-1 itself. Also verify that the DS0's are mapped correctly to your respected V.35 ports. My guess is that the carrier did not configure the Paradyne CSU correctly.....
