Hi Group,
I have a question . I have a site that is connected via a DSL connection. With that site we have 8 Public IPs available and I need to give one of those public IP addresses to another router.
My first thought was I could put a switch between the DSL modem and the 1st router and configure it will the same PPP properties and get another IP address. The provider said this wouldn't work. Not sure if I believe them, simply because I've done it before, but lets give them the benefit of the doubt.
Is their another way I can give this 2nd, future router, an IP address from the block of 8 I have?
