Dumb Question ???

I know this will be a very simple question:

I have a frac T-1 circuit (256k) that I am going to downgrade to a 56K circuit. Can I use the T-1 WIC or do I have to have a 56K WIC.

I think you will have to use the 56k wic. Why not downgrade to 64k?
