"Static route need to be set for ISDN" Can ISDN capable to do dynamic route but just not recommend because it will keep the link always up?

yes you can have the dynamic routing protocols on isdn but you need to configure the Intresting traffic in order to up the line...it is also same with the static route...because ISDN is like our telephone lie... you have to pay for it as per the time you keep ISDN link up...

You can imagine the ISDN is the media to carry the traffic and the routing is the way to pass the information to remote.
You can configure most application on ISDN and it depends on the requirement & usage. SO dyanmic or static routing protocol is depending on your requirement and dynamic will keep the link up or trigger the link up, so better to avoid to use dynamic routing protocol to save the cost.
