what can be the problem, is there any documents for this Protocols status

Hello Cisco-blue,

the message PPP LCP open and IPCP open means that a successful PPP negotiation has been completed.

the message ACKrcvd: CDPCP is only related to CDPCP that is the PPP control protocol for PPP.

This can mean only side has CDP enabled but it shouldn't be a real issue.

The real troubles come when looking at the interface counters:

1253026 packets input, 41299196 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 0 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

1162047252 input errors, 1162047252 CRC, 159381633 frame, 86369 overrun, 0

ignored, 158804302 abort

the number of errors is far bigger then the number of correctly received frames.

This can be the sign of a problem in the past or during testing.

I would suggest to clear counters and to see if error counters increase over time.

to help in troubleshooting serial interfaces including E1 look at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/internetworking/troubleshooting/guide/tr1915.html

and for E1/T1

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk713/tk628/technologies_tech_note09186a00800a758d.shtml

Hope to help

Giuseppe
