Hello,
Quick and basic question. We will be setting up an ebgp neighborship with one of our vendors. We will be advertising 10.0.0.0/8 and some other class B networks to vendor through this neighborship. Vendor will be advertising 10.169.0.0/20 to us. My question is since that our route advertisement also covers what vendor is advertising , will that cause any issues in routing like a loop or something and if we have to filter that out from advertisement then what are our options like prefix-list with route-maps etc or is there any other way of doing this. Thanks in advance

Hello,
I just labbed this in GNS3, it doesn't seem to be a problem. As long as the shorter prefix comes from another AS, you should be fine...
