EIGRP auto-summarization disabled by default?

Hey everyone, when I was studying for my CCNA, I learned that you have to manually disable auto-summary in EIGRP.

I am working on an ISR running the new ver. 15.xx IOS and when I do sh ip protocol it says Automatic Summarization: disabled

I do not have a no auto-summary command in my eigrp config.

Is this something Cisco is starting to do by default?

Yes, disabled by default now beginning with 15.0(1)M
