EIGRP - feasable sucessor route same AD as FD ?

Do feasable sucessor routes have to have a lower advertised distance than the sucessor routes feasable distance or can it be the same ?

it has to be lower. If it is equal, then the router is no FS.

You did not obtain a digital copy of the ICND materials, did you?

Thanks Martin, I do have the ICND materials from when I did the CCNA, I got the Ciscopress book with the CD. Actually for this example I cut and pasted from the Cisco docs on show ip eigrp topo.

I'm trying to pass the BSCI at the moment and wanted to clarify that EIGRP issue.

Having some problems with the wording of the BSCI. Sometimes can't tell exactly what they're asking...

Anyway going to try again tommorow.

Just one note: the BSCI has been updated and a new exam is out reflecting the new content. Make sure you take the exam matching your study material.
