Eigrp issues

I am installing two 3845s with ATM and FrameRelay,at two Hub sites, replacing two 3825s. 40 Remote sites connect to both Hub 3845s. 1 primary PVC, 1 backup pvc. EIGRP neighbors keep resetting the hold uptime, about every minute. Putting the original 3825 back in at the primary Hub site fixes this problem. WAN circuits/interfaces check out fine, no errors. Is there a bug in EIGRP? ios ver on new 3845s is 12.4-9.T7. All the remote sites are 2500 series, 2600 series routers. Not sure why I can't get the neighbors uptime to stay up. Thank you.

Hello Paul,

there was another thread about a similar scenario.

Check your MTU settings on both ends the new hub and the remote sites

EIGRP updates have different sizes depending on the the prefix len : prefixes longer more specific then >= 24 use more bytes.

This makes possible cases where there is a problem in sending some updates and EIGRP neighbors keep resetting.
