should I enable portfast on the firewall port from the catalyst ?

I have Cisco Catalyst WS-C3550-12T

I would I don't see any reason why your firewall would cause an issue.

portfast is recommended on links connected to PCs, servers, or any other single node. You don't want to enable it on links between hubs and switches.
