Good Day,
I'm trying to figure out how to configure traps on a BPX 8600 ATM Switch.
I'm interested specifically in the following:
cpuUtilizationAboveNormal
Specific Trap 20021
This trap is generated whenever a BPX/IGX/IPX processor's CPU utilization is above the threshold.
and
memoryUtilizationAboveNormal
Specific Trap 20023
This trap is generated whenever a BPX/IGX/IPX processor's dynamic memory utilization exceeds a fixed threshold. The alarm is reported from the node based on existing statistics that are collected for profiling the performance of the node.
Thanks

To configure traps we could use Cisco WAN Manager (CWM).Configure the network name and network CWM ID in the /usr/users/svplus/config/network.conf file. Refer URL
