We have a new remote office deployment.

It's going to have 15  to 20 users.

Cisco 7965s that will register to the Main site call Managers.

A 3500 access point that will also register with a controller at the Main site.

We are going to order a 50mb down/5 mb up Internet connection. We will create a site to site VPN to the Main Site. I'll have to encrypt the traffic and provide somekind of firewall functionality from the router. I'll hang a 3750x off the router for users, phones, printers, server.

Do you think a 2921 will suffice?

Hello Pat,

it should be enough specially if you provide intervlan routing with the C3750X, only the voice vlan should be terminated on the C2921 if you want to provide SRST ( to have it to manage the IP phones when link to main site is down).

Providing SRST has an impact on the licenses to be installed anf bought.
