Equivalent to "no autostate" on IOS XE Fuji 16.8?

Hi there!

Is there an equivalent to the IOS command "no autostate" on IOS XE 16.8 (Fuji)? We used this on old 800er Router Platform to keep Management Vlan for Router and successors up permanently. In IOS XE we haven't managed to find a command which gave us the same result.

Anyone anything?

I am also having this problem on the ISR1k running Everest 16.6.x with integrated 8 port switch. With such a small number of users at the site I don't want my IP Address management software to miss this net in the scan just because there are no users connected. Can we please get this feature in anything that might incorporate a switch blade module??!!

Hi,

Have you tried with a Loopback interface? But keep in mind that you can't assign loopback to the physical interface. The Client's reliability to the loopback will depend on the routing.
