error in ip accounting output

Hi,

While issuing the command “show ip accounting” on Cisco 10720 router the output is empty.

Command used for enable on  serial intyerface:-

router(config)#int serial 0/0

router(config-if)#ip accounting output-packets

router(config-if)#exit

But while input below command:-

Router#sh ip accounting

   Source           Destination              Packets               Bytes

Accounting data age is 03:08

Please suggest on this.

I have already checked this on fastethernet port:-

Int fa2/12

ip accounting output-packets

But output is same:-

Router#sh ip accounting
   Source           Destination              Packets               Bytes

Accounting data age is 03:01
