Client has a C2801 router with the following interfaces:
2 FastEthernet interfaces
2 ISDN Basic Rate interfaces
2 ATM interfaces
1 terminal line
1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module
1 DSP, 8 Voice resources
1 cisco service engine(s)
Client is constantly having slow performance issues when trying to access the application from a remote VPN server.
I've had them isolate the line and I did a clear counters on all interfaces.
After 6 hours of no internal activity I had a look at the stats and there are 1190 total drops for the ATM interface and 0 drops for all other interface.
unfortunately I cannot perform a ATMloop test as I'm not in the vicinity of the router (it's in the northern territory of Australia and I'm in the southwestern of Australia).
Before I have the interface exchanged I would like to get some input from others first to either confirm my findings or dispute it.

Any decent ISP, when they are furnished the above output, will know it's a bad line.
Noise: Above 20 dB is better. 6.5 dB is BAD!
Attenuation: 30 dB and below is better. Attenuation value of 44 dB is BAD.
