I am trying to work out where I can see what different type of services can be entered on this part of an extened ping.
I cannot find the relevant info on the
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_tech_note09186a0080093f22.shtml
web page
Can anyone help.?

Unclear what you want to see.
The type of service extened ping allows you to configure the ToS byte's bits. For instance, you could send pings that appears to be marked with DSCP EF.

Ah yes that is exactly what I wish to know...what to enter for the different QOS classes, so I can run ping tests against different class maps?

One that immediately comes to mind is using the value of "184 " which would mean DSCP EF
This can be calculated using EF(101110) = 128+32+16+8 = 184
Similarly you can substitute other values which can set the TOS to a specific DSCP
For testing, it might be required to set these values from a downstream router as packets originated from the router may not be subjected to QoS policies

Take the decimal value of the DSCP marking you want to use and multipy by 4.
