Extending T1s question

Hi guys,

We have a rare instance of T1s that need to be extended until fiber is dropped and dot1q can be implemented shortly after. The client is relocating to a new building 700' away from the existing TDM handoff. The logical solution is to MUX up to an OC3, but we are not equipped or able to do so unfortunately, so let the unnecessary solutions begin. The initial plan has failed, and our current backup is to use microwave radios at each end of a 700' coaxial cable (landlord does not want over the air). This works but is relatively overkill and I would like another backup plan (or better plan).

We do have 2 ASR901 routers in hand with 16 T1 ports, but my knowledge of what the ports are capable of is limited. Is it possible to terminate our 12 T1s into 1 ASR901, transport them over a GE port to another ASR901, and then drop to the equipment? We just need to get them from point A to point B, which are both DSX panels.

Sorry to post something so unnecessary, I'm just trying to gather all of our possible options for a problem that wouldn't be an issue if the correct equipment could be sourced.
