Hi,
So I have configured 2 x RTRs for my Broadband connectivity, my both broadbands are terminated on the routers, I am using HSRP and IP sla config for failover.
No issue is that for almost all scenarios failover is working perfect, eg: RTR restart Broadband device restart but incase I am removing Fiber uplink on Broadbands the failover is not happening, what could be the issue here,
Below SLA config & I am attaching RTRs configs as well.
RTR:1
ip sla 1
icmp-echo 2.49.8.1 --- Next hop IP after the Broadband gateway, tried 8.8.8.8 as well
frequency 5
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now
RTR 2:
ip sla 1
icmp-echo 8.8.8.8 --- As the Next hop after Broadband gateway kept changing so used 8.8.8.8
frequency 5
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now

hello @asfandyar779514494
On RTR 1 and 2, I don't see the command ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now
Also I don't see that command: track 1 ip sla 1 state

You need to select interface in your ip sla otherwise it will use RIB and there will be not failover.
Use icmp-echo x.x.x.x source interfaceY
