Filesystem does not support verify operations.

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me out.

I need to perfrom a Cisco Router Upgrade, I downloaded the file correctly on my router and when I try to verify that the file was downloaded correctly,

I get the following error messasge:

%Filesystem does not support verify operations

%WARNING: Signature not found in file

Is there any particular reason as to why??

Please let me know..

Hello Paolo,

I hope you are well

it is a question of file system type

not all file systems support the verify operation

you can check the file size and you can modify the boot order to have the new image attempted first leaving a second chance with current image
