frame-relay can't communicate with routers on MPLS network?

Hi! I have several remote sites, each with it's own router. All but 1 are conncted to an MPLS full-mesh network provided by my ISP, and my routers on the mesh are all CE routers. The one router left is still connected to a frame-relay link to my office. The MPLS routers can all communicate w/ each other, but nobody (except for me, since I have the direct connection to the frame link) can talk to the router on the frame link.

i've attached a jpg of my network layout to help explain things.

PRoblem is, the routers on the MPLS network cannot communicate with the office still on the frame-relay circuit. I've changed my routing statements to direct all traffic for the 192.168.15.0 network to go to 10.10.10.5 (the other end of the frame link). I have changed Office3's routing table to direct all traffic for the 13, 14, and 16 networks to 10.10.10.6 (my router). However, when I do a traceroute from Office3's router to the 13 or 16 network, it dies at 10.10.10.6.

I am stumped, my routing tables look right, so why isn't my router passing the packets through?? I can ping everybody just fine.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi,

You probably need to make sure the static routes you added so you can ping the frame sites are redistributed into the provider's MPLS cloud. Either that or have the provider point to your site for the gateway of last resort. That way all traffic from MPLS sites with unknown destinations comes to your site. Once it reaches your site, your router will know how to route it.

Hope this helps.
