Frame-Relay over Ethernet (GRE)

Hi,

I have to configure frame-relay on my lab routers. But unfortunately, routers don't have a serial port to connect other routers.

So I would think to connect over the GigabitEthernet for Frame-Relay. I well know that Cisco also supports the IETF Frame Relay encapsulation type, which is in conformance with RFC 1490 and RFC 2427.

nowhere my question is any possibility to connect over the GigiabitEthetnet or through GRE tunnel to make it this scenario.

I would glad to expecting answers to make my further lab process.

Unlikely, you need serial interfaces and frame relay switch (could be router). Just get GNS3 if you have images like 7200, 3725, 2600 series or VIRL.
