I have 8 T-1s coming into a location that are configured for multilink frame relay on a public router (outside of the firewall). I need to configure frame relay switching to a router that will be internal to the firewall. I've considered HSSI (PA-H for the 7206 and an NM-1HSSI for the internal 3825) to do this, but I haven't been able to confirm this will work for these platforms. Has anybody attempted this? I've also heard you can do frame relay switching over Ethernet, which would be a less costly solution, but I haven't found configurations on this. Is this feasible? Thank you.

the 3825 is a fine solution for the NM-1HSSI.
as well, the PA-H is a fine solution for the 7206.
both routers have the power to handle all channels plus.
the 7206 more so as its IO is upgradeable to a NPE-2G. (also can use NPE-225, NPE-400, NPE-1G)

Does this mean a 7206 witha PA-H will do frame switching? I couldn't get a straight answer from presales. Thanks
