Hello,
In past there was option to check flash from ROMMON - https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/800/850/software/configuration/guide/rommon.html via fsck command
In nowdays this option is completaly missing, I was doing this check on ISR 4431:
rommon 34 > ?
alias set and display aliases command
boot boot up an external process
confreg configuration register utility
dev list the device table
dir list files in file system
help monitor builtin command help
history monitor command history
meminfo main memory information
repeat repeat a monitor command
reset system reset
set display the monitor variables
showmon display currently selected ROM monitor
sync write monitor environment to NVRAM
token display board's unique token identifier
unalias unset an alias
unset unset a monitor variable
rommon 35 >
Is there any option how to verify if flash on router is not damaged?
Thanks,
P

Other option copy the Image to USB and boot from USB and do the checks (is that works ?)

To give you more info, we are hitting this bug- https://bst.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwc88439 but there is no workaround mentioned there, but thing is that this bug is DUPLICATE and other bug id is not mentioned
In the past this option was available, but it looks like Cisco remove it in newer versions of SW. I have advice to go into ROMMON and try boot to newer IOS version from USB and then try fsck from new IOS version, waiting for reply if this worked
