Hi,
I am trying to make a GRE tunnel in a vrf on IOS-XR.
I am able to make the tunnel interface up, but I am not getting the local IPs assigned to the Tunnel interface being shown in the vrf table. My final aim is to form BGP with the local IPs assigned (/30 in my case) to the tunnel interface.
Config:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Test# sh run int tunnel-ip45
interface tunnel-ip45
vrf Test
ipv4 address 109.39.214.217 255.255.255.252
tunnel mode gre ipv4
tunnel source Loopback779
keepalive 10
tunnel vrf Test
tunnel destination 109.39.218.10
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Test#sh int tunnel-ip 45
Fri Oct 18 18:26:50.359 CET
tunnel-ip45 is up, line protocol is up
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Test#ping vrf Test 109.39.214.217
Fri Oct 18 18:31:31.119 CET
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 109.39.214.217, timeout is 2 seconds:
UUUUU
Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Test#sh route vrf Test 109.39.214.21
Fri Oct 18 18:52:16.540 CET
% Network not in table

The show command is incorrect.
Could you post the output for the correct command:
sh route vrf Test 109.39.214.217
Should the tunnel destination be reachable via the vrf or the global?
Regards,
