I am looking for some help with this, I have searched multiple threads and none make it clear exactly what needs to be done, or how to do it.
Whilst below is a diagram does not tell the whole story. I need to create a GRE Tunnel. Please be aware there are three OSPF areas and the ends if the tunnel are not within those OPSF area only the appropriate ports of the router.
The two end PCS are connected to the routers via Gig0/2/0 which seems to be switch ports configured as access ports. Although I assume trunk ports for the GRE tunnel I need to create, but maybe not. I obviously cannot assign these an IP Address.
To connect both ends and create the tunnel do I need to use a VLAN and trunk the VLAN at every stage, i.e. on the two routers and the switches.
Any advice would be appreciated.
