Greetings, sorry if my message going to be long:
i live in lebanon and we have a very bad ISP over here, and was looking forward to improve my connection by subscribing to Leased Line, it took me 2 weeks just to be able to talk to an engineer and he told me to get the Leased line equipment 2 converters and a router, trying to contact him again to get the exact models but with no luck, my isp based service is ADSL2 with copper wires the old traditional wires and intended speed im looking after is 2Mbps, and been looking into the converters i couldnt find or by the little experience i have i couldnt figure what to get, i found some converters written on it (1000BASE-FX fiber to 1000Base-T copper media or vice versa) i guess what i need is a copper to ethernet converter, i dont know if this works, but my main issue is what cisco router i should get for this connection, the engineer told me get a cisco router and that's all been said to me, i wonder if anyone can help me out here, appreciate the time spent reading this, thanks in advance.

you can look the below model built in ADSL2
If you looking modular :
make sure to check with provider compatibility. ( one thing come to my mind was - leased line i take as HDSL - check again)

Thanks for your fast and helpful reply, yes i guess it's called G.SHDSL as i remember, but might be HDSL as your assumptions. i will try to get as much information as possible to determine what i need, the only thing im facing now the converters i need 2 and i dont see it available anywhere sadly.

HDSL works differently - but make sure you confirm with the provider before you put your time buying equipment.
you find some equipment RADWARE HDSL Modem, which converts G703 in to Serial

Thanks for all the help you have provided, my ips told me these works for the connection I’m looking for https://www.proscend.com/en/product/6200N-Series.html
but couldn’t find the price or availability anywhere, and I’m sorry for my low knowledge but I really don’t know what that is and how I can search for an alternative, if it happens that you know what I should be looking for I oils be very thankful
