I have a 2821 router with Version 12.4(21) can't get the dial up to work

here is the config

Hello Jfeo,

how have you configured the async line?

post sh run int interface async0/1/0

you will need dialer in-band and the dialer string and you need to prepare the chat script to pilot the modem
