My daughter gave me an older wireless router she had in the closet.I hooked it up to my cable for my pc and that all went well. She does not remember the password. How do I change it so my grandchildren can use their notebooks when they are visiting?
Thank You
Bill Pleasant

Hello Bill,
the factory default settings are:
Username: admin (or no username)
Password: admin
IP Address: 192.168.1.1
SSID: CiscoXXXXX
Try those, chances are they have not been altered.
Otherwise, reset the device to factory defaults:
3. How do I reset the Linksys E2500 to factory defaults?
