It looks like it was never used still in the box and plastic still on everything.
It is a Cisco 861 Integrated Services Router.
Is this a good thing to start learning on?
I am gonna hook it up and console into it, this is my first ever Cisco device like this, I have been working on computers for over 10 years but am total newb to this network stuff.
Let me know what you think of it, thanks alot
Ray

I've been trying to figure this thing out, only thing I can do is set the IP address on the WAN interface fast ethernet 4
What I have is it connected to my home router to the WAN port, I am trying to connect devices to the LAN Ports on the router and having those work , but I cannot figure this out, it is way above my head.
Any idea how to make this thing work?
I want to 861 to just do DHCP and you know all the LAN Ports go thru it, then all the gets passed to my home router.
