High CPU usage on 1921 Router

Hi,

      We have a Cisco 1921 Router, being used for Natting of our WiFi users. It never caused a problem, since last 6 years, however we have started experiencing high CPU usage for last 3 4 days, (which goes upto 99 percent) and it was almost unable to forward traffic properly.

For time being we have removed Cisco router and placed an OpenWRT router which is working fine, however we want to find the root cause, due to which CPU usage is going to 99 percent.

Any help shall be much appreciated.
