HI,

There is an 40 % cpu utilization in cisco 7600 router but nothing much is going with my router. No ACL,ipsec ,or bgp also i did not see any cpu hog message as well.. when i check cef drop i found that there are lot of dropps on unsupported. Could any one tell why is this drop and is this causing the cpu to go high??

Can anyone tell is causing this.

Since your five second CPU interrupt utilization is the same as the total CPU utilization, ordinary traffic forwarding could be the cause. What processing engine are you using and what's the total volume of traffic passing through the router?
