I have two switches in stack, which have high CPU processing, I see that the fed process is consuming too many CPU resources.

The current version of IOS is 03.02.03.SE

Hi ,

Have a look at this document from Cisco TAC:-

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-3850-series-switches/117594-technote-hicpu3850-00.html

Hope this gives you some pointers

What's the uptime of the stack?
3.2.3SE is a very old IOS. 3.2.X is meant for operators to use this IOS version until a more stable IOS comes along. Think of 3.2.X as an "interim" version.

HI

Then the problem of high processing will be by an IOS bug? updating the IOS will solve the problem?

SW_STACK2_ACCESO_BANCO_PERU uptime is 1 year, 19 weeks, 4 days, 11 hours, 25 minutes
Uptime for this control processor is 1 year, 19 weeks, 4 days, 11 hours, 27 minutes
System returned to ROM by reload
System restarted at 01:20:32 CST Thu Oct 13 2016
System image file is "flash:packages.conf"
Last reload reason: Reload command

Hi,

The IOS/XE you are running is ver 3.2.3SE.
When you visit te Cisco IOS download site this version
has been deferred.

Cisco have proved there is a serious software issue with that release.

(Cisco TAC would be very reluctant to look for a fix on this version)

They suggest you move to the 3.6 train.

3.6.6SE(MD) is the suggested verion on the site today.

Look at the download and read the release notes and config guide (especially
on how to upgrade to this version)
before you proceed to upgrade

>1 year uptime? Yup, that contributes to high CPU.
