Hello,
We have quite a few 877 ADSL routers in the UK on BT lines that we use to create VPN IPSec tunnels back to our HQ also in the UK. BT have been pushing ADSL 2+ for a while, how can I tell these 877's will support these faster ADSL lines in the UK?
Also are the 887's the new version of the 877's?
Thanks

Andy,
It appears to be supported. From the data sheet
• Supports ADSL over basic telephone service with Annex A and Annex B ITU G. 992.1 (ADSL), G.992.3 (ADSL2), and G.992.5 (ADSL2+)
have a look at table-7 in this link:

OK thanks, do you know if the 887's are the new version on the 877?

I am not sure. Talk to your sales rep and SE to see if they are replacing the 877 with 887.

I buy the kit online myself, no sales rep. I will do some research.

As what Edison posted, the 887 is the replacement for the 877.
