How many endusers can a C2821(256MB RAM) support?

I am working on a C2821 router need to know if it can support 300 plus endusers. The router will be used for forwarding Data to the internet. THANKS!

Routers don't care about how many users you have.

What matter is the circuit speed. Which circuit spped do you have ?

Also, are you the end user trying to confirm what a cisco partner told you ?

by circuit speed do you mean our connection speed to the internet?? if it is our connection speed we have a dual 4mbps connection

For such a low speed, you can even use a 2801. Note if you are buying new, a 2901 would be much better.
