How many ways we can Implement L3VPN

I just wondering what are the ways that we could implement L3VPN

L3VPN using MPLS/BGP

And what could be possibly other model that we could implement L3VPN

    What do you mean by "ways to implement L3VPN"? By other ways to implement L3VPN, you mean like other Layer 3 VPN types? a GRE tunnel is also a Layer 3 VPN for example.

Yes, Exactly Various L3VPN type

1) MPLS/BGP L3VPN

2) GRE/BGP L3VPN

So it that ok to say these are only those types.

Sorry I am just preparing myself to understand these technologies, so I would like to Know all available L3VPN types so that I could try to gain knowledges on those types.

Hi,

    For Data Center Interconect you have OTV and EVPN; for Security you have GRE, DMVPN (mGRE),GREoverIPsec,IPsecVTI; for Service Provider you have MPLS L3VPN.
