I have two datacenters connected to each other. Each datacenter has a Transit upstream connection and they both receive the full internet routing table from their respective PEs.
Currently only one of them has the full internet routing table and it advertises that to the other datacenter (inherited network - I would have used a default route). When I make the other data center active, for redundancy and DR, it will also receive the full internet routing table.
How do I stop each data center from advertising the internet routing table (external) to each other while keeping internally learned routes active and advertised?
Many thanks

Hi MHM,
Apologies it has been a while since I could update. I have tested with the following commands and it seems to work:
ip as-path access-list 10 permit ^$
Apply this to the required neighbor. It allows internal routing to remain but stops the external routes.
Many thanks
