How to connect cisco 881-w (NOOB)

Hi there just bought a cisco 881-w -pretty new to cisco hardware ^^

As i have read i need to config it over telnet ?

But can¨t get any conection to it :/

What i have tried 1: connecting the FE 4 to my fiber modem and FE 0 to my pc --When it boots i got lan on pc, but after boot lan disapers, and says no cable connected

2: tried connecing FE 4 and pc to another router, can see the cisco router got the ip 192.168.1.62 and this ports open (80,3128,8080)

now what am im doing wrong and how can i connect to this router so i can config it ?

You need to get a blue console cable, and connect to it over a serial port.

Have a look at the attached document.

There are three modes of configuring the unit but the best one is over CLI, so you will need a Cisco Console cable and a application like HyperTerminal or similar

what are the two other options ? :) dont have a consol cable right now :/

There are no other options for new devices 8XX series. Becuase you must configure it for DHCP, management interface and for other options to use it. It's not a home router :)
