Hello,
I have some cisco routers connected with a central cisco L3 switch i.e. cisco 3750x switch at a remote location. these routers being managed by different service providers; i don't have any access to log onto those routers. I need to know the serial number of each router connected to this 3750 switch. The site being at remote place, instead of visiting there to get the inventory; is there any way possible to know router serial numbers using CLI on cisco catalyst 3750x .
PS: I have full access on Cisco catalyst 3750x

personally i do not belive you can get that informatuon, until you log to device and issue commands.
if the kit is in your physical location as some one to read for you behind the device.

Hello,
try an SNMPWalk tool like the one attached (Solarwinds) and do an SNMPwalk for the OID that gets you the serial number. A list of OIDs can be found here:
