hi,
a lil info would help us answer your query. what termination or service are your referring to (metro-e, MPLS or DSL) and what router are you using? if this is a stub network (i.e. using a default route towards ISP next-hop IP address), then i would suggest to run an iperf test to get the best results.

Hi John,
Thnx for the reply, Service is MPLS and yes it is a stub network. It would be great if you can tell be how to do this iperf test, when i googled this i found this one to be a software . Is it possible to check without a software i.e directly by logging into router.

Hi,
There's a hidden command in Cisco routers to verify this. I haven't personally used this on our routers but there were some discussions recently on this topic. You could also ask your SP to do Iperf test for you.
