Hi,
I would like achieve a load balancing between 2 interfaces (ATM and FastEthernet) for the traffic to route through?
How can I achieve it on a Cisco 7206 Router?
Thanks,
Regards,

Hello Ken,
are the link speeds comparable ?
if they are not like 100 Mbps FE and ATM E1 2 Mbps your best choice would be to use FE as primary link and the ATM link as secondary link.
If the ATM link is a full STM-1 AND you have purchased an ATM PVC with the equivalent of 100 Mbps ( ATM link speed and PVC traffic parameters are two different things)
you just need to set equal costs on the links with OSPF to have load balancing
With EIGRP you could implement load balancing over unequal paths if speeds are different but somewhat comparable using the variance command if EIGRP feasible condition is satisfied also on worse path.
What is the routing protocol you are using?
Hope to help

Giuseppe,
Sorry for the late reply !
Yes, the link speed is comparable.but they are on diff interface. I would like to use EIGRP to do a load balancing so that I can make use of the 2 x 100M on the 2 diff interfaces.
Thanks,
KA
