I have got one Intranet server located at our Head office and the IP address is 10.49.13.7 and i have configured another backup server which is placed at a remote location and the IP is 192.168.10.5. I want to know how to configure cisco router to redirect traffic if my primary server (10.49.13.7) fails. Kindly help me with configuring details.

Hi,
As far as i know, a client server requests are sent directly from a client to a server IP, this redirection can't be done via a Cisco router, the simplest way is to do the backup via DNS.
HTH, please rate if it does help,
Mohammed Mahmoud.
