How to take GUI access of cisco SG300 28p small business switch

Hi,

How can i take GUI access of Cisco SG300 small business switch? I mean in which port i have to plug RJ45 cable, as of now I am able to ping 192.168.1.254 from my PC, if i put cable in any of port, but not able to access Gui.

 

Note- I do not have Serial-db9 console so the only way to take access is Gui.

Look at the quick start guide  - the GUI should access from that IP as per the basic config.

have you tried ssh to device ?

what IP address does your PC have ?

STEP 2 Set the IP configuration on your computer.
a. If the switch is using the factory default IP address of
192.168.1.254, you must chose an IP address for the computer
in the range of 192.168.1.1—192.168.1.253 that is not already in
use

if you still cannot access the 192.168.1.254 , it may be securtity settings on your browser
try both http://192.168.1.254   and https://192.168.1.254
if both fail you can try lowering the security setting in your browser, or try another browser
