Hi all,
I have a Cisco3800 with IOS Version 12.3(14)T2 and I have an HWIC-1GE-SFP module inserted on it.
I need to know if there is a command to verify optical power level in this module inserted in the Cisco 3800 router?
Something similar to the following command that I can execute in an Cisco ASR9K:
show controllers Te0/0/0/1 phy | i Rx
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi William,
It is "show interfaces ... transceiver detail" command.

That is DOM. It's only supported on certain modules, and likely not supported on the 3800 at all.

Paolo, you are right, DOM is not supported on this HWIC:
Minimum Software Release Required | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Platform | Switch or Module | Transceiver Module | DOM Support | Cisco IOS Release |
HWIC-1GE-SFP | GLC-T | — | 12.3(8)T4 |
The card with DOM support is EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU and it is supported on ISR-G2 only.
DOM support provides optical levels, including such commands as:
show int transceiver detail
show int
show controller
Kind Regards,

On the Catalyst 9300 you can perform.
# show interfaces transceiver detail.
This command will show the temperature, voltage, current, decibel levels, and thresholds.
